Les Clefs d’Or Canada’s British Columbia Region celebrated their 8th annual charity boat cruise in early September supporting the Dreams Take Flight Charity and Vancouver Aquarium‘s Marine Mammal Rescue Program.
The 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility event transformed into a Hawaiian dance party thanks to the Heremana Polynesian Dancers who donated their time to welcome guests with live hula dancing and interactive performances throughout the evening aboard Harbour Cruises vessel the MV Britannia. The annually supported charity Dreams Take Flight assists in making dreams come true for children from Greater Vancouver who have or may be experiencing medical, mental, physical, social or emotional challenges surprising them with a trip of a lifetime- Disneyland for a day… Hakuna Matata! The second chosen charity for 2019 is The Vancouver Aquarium’s Marine Mammal Rescue Centre. A hospital for sick, injured or orphaned marine mammals. The Rescue Centre rescues abandoned mammals and rehabilitates them for release back into their natural habitat. This event could not have been a success without kindness, hospitality and caring support.
